Four Games Unbeaten

An amazing fortnight of International and Domestic football was rounded off with a 90th minute winner from David Healy.

Live on Sky Sports 1, Elland Road was the emptiest it's been in a while, with just over 18,000 in attendance, but the Leeds fans were still in full voice cheering the lads on as we looked to make it four games unbeaten and achieve our greatest run of the season.

After going 1-0 down after just 5 minutes, Leeds never gave in and thanks to alot of luck, some terrible decisions by the linesman and Nugent missing an absolute sitter, we were still in it.

In the 51st minute the Elland Road faithfuls prayers were answered when Cresswell passed back to Blake to hammer home thje equaliser. Elland Road goes mental, as the game starts to go from end to end in a winner takes all battle.

Chance after chance was wasted, the woeful Leeds defending was spared courtesy of the linesman, and all that was left was for David Healy to deliver the final blow to a bewildered Preston. It came in the 90th minute - An header Healy didn't seem to know much about, but an header that would earn Leeds the 3 points and keep our survival dreams alive.

Saturday brought even better news when all the teams around us failed to win, leaving Leeds just 1 point from safety.
